The **Ram Mandir** is a Hindu temple that is currently under construction in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is being built at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism. The temple is being constructed by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 22, 2024. The construction of the temple has been a contentious issue for decades, with the site being the subject of a long-standing dispute between Hindus and Muslims ⁴. The Supreme Court of India delivered a verdict in 2019 that gave the disputed land to Hindus for the construction of the temple, while Muslims were given land elsewhere to construct a mosque. The temple is being built in the Nagara style of Hindu temple architecture and will have a height of 161 feet. The temple complex will consist of one central temple with six more temples joined around it.
