Neela A.S. wife of Embar Ramaswamy, is mother of the author. She passed away on 08-Jul-2020 at Bangalore. She was born to Anandampillai Sampathkumarachar and Yadugiriyamma in the city of Mysore in Karnataka. She was the last daughter among 6 siblings.

ಮೇಲ್ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ, (ಈಗಿನ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ) ತಿರುನಾರಾಯಣಪುರದ ಬಹು ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಶಿರುಪೂದೂರ್ ಎನ್ನುವ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿ 4155 ವಿಜಯ ವರ್ಷ (ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಶಕ 1053) ಚೈತ್ರ ಮಾಸ ಚಿತ್ರಾ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಂದಾಳ್ವಾನ್ ಅವತರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರುಗಳ ಆಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಾನುಜರು ಅವತರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಠಳ ಪೆರುಂಬೂದೂರ್ ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯ ಅನಂದಾಳ್ವಾನ್ ಅವತರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಠಳ ಶಿರುಪೂದೂರ್ ಎಂಬುವುದು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾದ ಅವರೀರ್ವರನ್ನೂ ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿಸುವ ಆಶ್ಚ ವಿಷಯ. (ಈ ಸ್ಠಳ ಕಿರಂಗೂರ್ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಂದಾಳ್ವಾನ್ ರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಠಾಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ದೇಗುಲ ಬಹಳ ಶಿಥಿಲಗೊಂಡುಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ).
